INITIAL DIRECTION
Every commission begins with a focused conversation to define the project’s scope and key features. Scale, core parameters, and delivery format — whether fully assembled or as a buildable kit — are established early, ensuring clarity before design begins.
DIGITAL DESIGN
The model is fully developed digitally, with layout, structure, and form defined at scale. This stage allows for collaborative refinement, ensuring the design is aligned and approved before any physical construction begins.
PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT
Once approved, the model transitions into physical form, with construction focused on structural integrity, precision, and faithful execution of the digital design. Adjustments at this stage are technical and purposeful, ensuring the finished build performs as intended.
COMPLETION & DELIVERY
The completed model is finalized for delivery, with care taken to ensure it arrives as intended. Most commissions are shipped ready to be experienced, with on-site assembly reserved only when scale or complexity requires it.
AVAILABILITY
MRJ Builds accepts a limited number of commissions each year to ensure focus, quality, and consistency across every project. Availability varies depending on scale and complexity, and new commissions are scheduled selectively.
